By the underlying numbers, the Blues were the better 5v5 team over the course of the season. The Jets has a better PP and Blues the better PK.

Do you believe in momentum?

A look at the Jet's last 10 games (right side) shows that they really improved their scoring chance suppression. The end results (goals against) didn't improve much, but the underlying numbers did. The PP looks worse than it really is. Again, the end results (PP goals for) dropped considerably, but the underlying numbers are still excellent.

The Blues last 10 games? Well, they look scary good. The only thing that stands out is the increase in scoring chances against, however this is likely due to the fact that they were controlling games; leading often. And winning. ;-)

After a hard look at the numbers, it would be hard to bet against the Blues.
